A North Myrtle Beach man is out on bond after police say he showed up uninvited at a home in the Longs area, refused to leave, and then shot someone during a fight.

Horry County police were called to Sawgrass Lane around 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 25 for a physical disturbance.

According to an arrest warrant, Davis Pandure, 26, came to the home looking for someone he was in a relationship with. The people inside, including the victim, told him to leave. He wouldn’t. Police said the exchange was captured on a recorded 911 call.

The warrant says a fight broke out, Pandure went to his vehicle to get a handgun, and he shot the victim in the torso. The warrant describes the wound as creating a substantial risk of death.

A police report says officers found two people with gunshot wounds. It does not explain how the second person was hurt, or whether anyone else is facing charges.

Pandure is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. Jail records show he posted a $10,000 bond on Sunday.

The charge is an accusation, and Pandure is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

If you or someone you know is dealing with relationship violence, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 1-800-799-7233.
